Student Volunteer Program

At The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen, we believe that community is built not only on the courts and around the table, but also by giving back to the neighborhoods where we live and learn. That’s why we created our student volunteer program—a chance for students to earn community service hours while supporting local charity events.

What You’ll Do as a Volunteer

As a student volunteer, you’ll play an important role in making events at The Serve successful. Tasks may include:

  • Event Setup & Teardown – Decorating the venue, setting up tables and chairs, and assisting with catering items.
  • Check-In & Welcome Desk – Greeting guests, checking registration lists, distributing name tags, and handing out schedules or materials.
  • Tech Support – Monitoring sound systems and presentation slides (if needed).
  • Charity Partner Assistance – Supporting non-profits with their displays, helping answer questions, and assisting event staff.

Some assignments may involve light lifting (up to 30 lbs), but most are about being welcoming, helpful, and organized.

Why Volunteer at The Serve?

  1. Earn Service Hours – All volunteer time is tracked and signed off by our staff for school or community service requirements.
  2. Make an Impact – Your efforts directly support local non-profits and community organizations.
  3. Learn & Connect – Gain experience in event support, customer service, and teamwork while meeting other students and community leaders.

Community Service Documentation

Within seven days of the event, students will receive an official Community Service Program form via email, showing volunteer hours and signed by The Serve’s event staff. This ensures your volunteer work counts toward your school’s service requirements.
