Whether you’re a competitive duo or just looking for a fun afternoon together, this event is designed to keep the atmosphere energetic, welcoming, and community-focused for all ages and skill levels.
Teams will compete in a series of games leading into a final championship round where one father + kid duo will take home the title.
Led by our Director of Sports & Fitness and our lead Instructor, this clinic is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of pickleball in a fun, encouraging environment. Kids will learn proper paddle grip, footwork, serving, scoring, and basic rally techniques — all while building confidence, coordination, and teamwork.
Play pickleball, compete for a cause, and be part of something bigger on the courts at The Serve. This event is part of our Serve For A Cause initiative and supports: Carolina Wildlife Conservation Center, Soul to Sole Connection, and CLT Foundation.
This Beginner Pickleball Social is a two-hour, instructor-facilitated session designed for newer players who want to build confidence and enjoy friendly, structured play in a comfortable environment.
An instructor will be present to organize matches, help rotate players, and keep things moving — without formal coaching or instruction. This is not a clinic. The focus is on relaxed gameplay, consistency, and having fun with others at a similar level.
Times & Days:
Mondays & Thursdays : 4:00–6:00 PM
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Sundays: 1:00–3:00 PM
Capacity: 8 players
Format: Friendly, organized play with light facilitation
